Image Dirt Works Australia is proud to be a member of Cycling Promotion Fund. (CPF)

The fund was established in 2000 to enable the Bicycle Industry to play an active role in promoting and encouraging cycling and in working to improve conditions for bicycle riders. The CPF is an initiative of Bicycle Industries Australia Ltd., the national membership association for wholesalers, manufacturers and importers.

Since its establishment, the CPF has established itself as a respected stakeholder in promoting and advancing cycling in Australia.

Membership of the CPF is voluntary and since its inception membership has been increasing consistency, with most of the larger wholesalers in Australia being members now. Since its formation the CPF has invested more than $600,000 into advancing cycling in Australia.

Our vision:
Cycling is a safe, popular and convenient activity for people of all ages. People regard cycling as great recreation, leisure, family, touring, transport, fitness and sport activity.

Riding a bike to school has become the norm again. Children have independent mobility and lead active and healthy lifestyles. Cycling is held in high regard by all levels of Government as a way to improve the quality of life for all Australians.

Investment in cycling is regarded as a cost effective way to increase mobility, make recreation accessible, increase physical activity levels, boost regional tourism and enable Australians to win medal at the elite sporting level.

What we do:
Lift the profile of cycling as a great activity for everyone

Provide accessible information for people wanting to take up cycling or get more out of cycling

Work with other organisations to make Australia more bicycle friendly

Support initiatives which achieve measurable results in increasing cycling levels

Undertake and support research to ensure the industry is responsive to changing consumer demands

Recognise, reward and encourage innovation and achievements through the Bicycling Achievement Awards

Foster cooperation and coordination within the cycling sector in Australia
