Grudge Matches can be declared between teams/individuals entering a minimum of 3 WWS events - these have to be the same 3 events!
Grudge Match Challenges can be between any team, they are not restricted to the same gender or category - it can be any gender, team against team, team against solo, etc.
Grudge Teams are requested to use the same team name at each WWS round
Both parties must agree to the Grudge Match before declaration
Grudge Matches can be declared via the online form below or in person at WWS events No Grudge Matches can be declared after Registration at WWS4
Substitutions for Grudge Matches : Substitutions for Grudge Matches will be allowed over the three qualifying events as follows:
- Solo – no substitutions
- Pairs – up to 1 single-rider substitution
- Threes – up to 3 single-rider substitutions
- Fours – up to 4 single-rider substitutions
A single-rider substitution is where one rider is replaced in a team of any size. If two riders, for example, are replaced in the same race, that will use up 2 of that team’s ‘single-rider’ substitutions available over the four qualifying events.
Multiple Grudge Matches can be declared against the same team, at the discretion of the Grudge Match administrator
Declared Grudge Matches will be listed on the Dirt Works website
Grudge Match participants must submit at least one story, with photos if possible, to the Grudge Match blog during the Series
Grudge Match prize giving will be at the final round of the BMC Working Week Series.
